It was a planned thing from an injury in May... no emergency or surprise thing.
I had the surgery on 8/14 and I'm happy to report that I was back on my feet 3 days late and I'm scheduled to go back into shows on 8/29, only 2 weeks later!
So that's pretty awesome.
