Drop Dead Diva BOOKED!

Long story short, Andy Dick couldn't make his schedule work to guest star in an upcoming episode of Drop Dead Diva on Lifetime so Mark Fincannon called the next best person, ME!  The show just premiered last week and already has a great following so I'm psyched to be appearing in the first season!  I just filmed a scene yesterday and fly back up to Atlanta next Wednesday to shoot another short scene.  It's been great so far and I can't wait to see what DDD has in store for us!

Special thanks to Traci Danielle and Mark Fincannon!

Army Wives Aired!

Well, my episode, About Face, aired last night and my scenes turned out GREAT! I played a young IRS agent, Scott "Opie" Keller, who came in to tell Roxy her bar owed the government lots of money. It looked awesome!

Special thanks to Richard Futch Casting and Brevard Talent Group.

YPG Teaching Class

I just taught a class last night for Florida-based kids ranging from 8-15. Sheri Kebbel, with Mosaic Talent Group, normally runs the 3 hour workshop at Lisa Maile but had to be on the west coast this week and asked me to come in. All of the young actors were very mature and focused and did a good job approaching the physical acting games I threw their way. Hopefully we'll all get to play together again some day!

Guiding Light Wrapped!

The experience on the Guiding Light set was awesome! I had an early 7 AM call but I shot the first scene of the day and was wrapped at 8:10 AM! Ellen, executive producer and director extraordinaire, called rehearsal for the scene then used the rehearsal as the take! 1 time, done, wham bam, I'm outta here...

I got to hang out the rest of the day by the pool where my friends were shooting their scenes... Easy breezy.

And the best part of the day was Guiding Light showed up at Blue Man that night to watch the show and film some interactions between some of their characters and ours and I got to be a part of that too! That means you'll see me as myself (playing a bellman) and as a Blue Man (playing myself) all within a couple episodes of Guiding Light. Pretty awesome!!!!

*Revision*

Oops! Due to bad phone reception I misunderstood about the Kia commercial. I was apparently 2nd in line and keeping my schedule open in case they needed me to come in. Just got the call that they're all set to shoot and my services aren't needed this time around. All good! The experience was still a blast and I am super excited about the next opportunity to get to work with this fun-loving team!

I went on an amazing rollercoaster of a callback today for a Canadian commercial spot for the Kia Forte, a rad new car. And I booked it! The director was amazingly fun to work with and the rest of the team seems super laid back and awesome. I will shoot early next week and I can't wait!

Wrapped on Army Wives

I am on my way back from a fabulous trip to Charleston, SC to film an episode for the next season of Army Wives on Lifetime. I couldn't be happier with the experience... All 3 of my scenes were shot in record time and we actually wrapped the day an hour and a half ahead of schedule because there was only one flubbed take all day! This just goes to show how efficient and professional everyone was and I tried to absorb as much of that as possible. Ha.

It was a great script written by Deborah Fordham (Producer/Writer, previously on Scrubs) and Guest-Directed by Steven Gyllenhaal. It was a lot of fun to film and I received nothing but compliments all day from cast and crew alike so I'm glad to hear my performance was well received!

As difficult as it would be to write my character into the show again for another appearance, I do hope I get to work with these great people again some day in some fashion.

Holy Moley

So.... I dropped off the face of the EARTH, eh?

Many things have happened in the past, oh, 7 months.

The Stereo Fame shoot went splendidly and the videos are in final production before being launched on the website.

I recently finished shooting a principal role in Scare Zone, an ultra-low budget feature length filmed here in Orlando. You can view the trailer on the website and, from what I hear, it's flying through post and should be released soon!

In November last year I met with Richard Futch, casting director for the hit Lifetime series, Army Wives, and we are currently looking to work together some time in the show's 3rd season, shooting this year! More information to come...

Also, some major shifts have happened in Blue Man Group company wide, affecting every city and the tour. There were many life changes for many people in the company but I will continue to be a Full Time Blue Man at Universal Studios, Orlando. I'm very, very sad to see many of my brothers gone but I know they will succeed at whatever they set their mind to.

And... I think that's about it. Sorry for disappearing. I'll be around more now, you'll see, and everything... everything will be alright.
