I have just been hired as Stereofame.com's Welcome Wagon for their website! We will be shooting this Thursday and I'll let you know when the finished product is up on the site.

Stereo Fame is a Music Social Network that allows you to listen to new independent music from all over the world, upload your own original music for others to listen to AND earn great prizes while you're doing it.

When you log onto the site, I will be the "host" explaining how the site works and how to get started.

I also plan on publishing my own music on the site. Check back soon for more updates!

Kimberly & Mark Mullen hosted casting for a Disney SAG commercial yesterday for which I got seen as a PIRATE!

Kids Fringe 08

This is an amateur video from a spectator at our Kid's Fringe happening in Orlando! The whole event was the most attended performance in Kid Fringe history and incorporated storytelling, audience participation, music, dance and, most importantly, making friends.

Mullen Casting

I had my first audition with Mullen Casting today for a Russian gum commercial. The Mullens are very nice and I hope to meet them again shortly!

Turtle Talk Call Back

Had a callback for Turtle Talk with Crush at EPCOT today and it went very well! The energy was perfect, I was told, but the voice was a little off so I'm going to be going to the next callbacks, sometime in the next month or so probably.

Theater Junkie Jam

Theater Junkies, a local group of physically-based actors, get together every month or so and workshop various exercises and I got to lead one such workshop today with fellow Blue Man, Peter Musante! We focused on exercises that would help partners communicate with themselves and the audience non-verbally but without going into pantomime or excessive physical movement.

Kid's Fringe

A piece concocted by the minds at Blue Man Group Orlando will be presented at Kid's Fringe this Sunday at 11 am.  It's going to be a lot of fun but it relies 110% on kid participation so hopefully we'll have a few show up!  

In other news...

Just auditioned for Michael Korkis with Disney casting and I've got a callback for "Turtle Talk with Crush" at Disney's Epcot later this month.  Duuuude!

How To Be A Megastar 2.1 DVD/CD combo

Blue Man Group's How To Be A Megastar Tour 2.1 was recently released in HD in  DVD/CD combo and soared to 2nd on the charts.  Apparently, the lighting wasn't perfect for filming on tour so TV Heads, a skit from the tour and the Orlando venue, was shot on the Orlando stage and spliced in.  If you watch it, you can see 2 other Orlando Blue Men and myself performing TV Heads on the DVD!

The Hurt Agency part deux

A very successful meeting today with Melanie Hurt!  We have decided that we can work well together and, thus, I will immediately be joining the Talent division of The Hurt Agency, auditioning in Central Florida, Tampa and North Carolina.

Workshop with Elena Day

March 20th and 21st, I will be taking part in a clowning workshop with Elena Day who studied with Jacques LeCoq in Paris and originated the role of The Green Bird in La Nouba.  The workshop, entitled Focus on Clown and produced by Little Fin Creative, is a study of how focus on your partner and the audience can bring clarity to your playfulness.  I feel it should be perfect for the Blue Man character.

David Nixon Productions

Alas, I did not secure the web commercial being cast by David Nixon Productions but the final decision was delayed by a day of deliberations because it was such a close call between yours truly and that other guy.

I think DNP and I worked well together and I look forward to meeting with them again soon!

Interview on WIRK

WIRK, Palm Beach's #1 country station, had me on this morning to speak with JD & Crew about Blue Man Group.

They had just seen the show last night, loved it, had a million questions, and will be back again.

Hot Shots

Today I shot footage for a local show, Hot Spots, that focuses on fun things to do in Orlando.  The show chose Blue Man Group as one of its highlites.

The show airs on 3 stations in the Orlando area: WRDQ, Vision TV and WMFE-CFAN.  The hosts of the program are Crystal Louthan and Lyanna Tumaneng.

Disney No More

Due to scheduling conflicts, I have declined the role of Sarge in Block Party Bash at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
